Daddy Daughter Date Nite

Some great news is that I am now the official photographer for the Mt. Pleasant Parks & Rec Department. I am gearing up for Daddy Daughter Date Night this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. One of the many fun events put on by Mt. Pleasant Parks & Rec that I get to photograph. I am very excited about the new direction that Fisher Photo is headed--taking photos of all of their events and sports programs. Babies! Babies and more Babies!

Having a great time taking Baby Portraits! They are so sweet and little and adorable! I have twin boys who are Fisher Photo's "Babies of the Year" and a sweet little baby girl who is part of our Baby's First Year II and they will all be having their picture taken every month for the first year! Lovin' it! A family and their little newborn baby boy is coming in tomorrow for family and newborn pictures! Check back for pics from their session soon!

A Collection...

I was recently driving home and noticed this colorful collection of...well...some sort of farming equipment trailers. I don't know their exact name, but that isn't the point. The point is, the sun was shining, the sky was a brilliant blue and the mixture of colors on these trailers lured me in and I just happened to have my camera with me. I always think I should have my camera with me at all times because I never know when a photo op will jump out in front of me...but...well...it's usually not the case. But, on this particular day--I happily grabbed it out of my bag, slammed on the brakes (not really) and started shooting. Hope you find them as interesting as I did!

Something Random...

Sometimes you just see a random object placed somewhere...haphazardly...and it suddenly strikes you how perfect the placement was! Take for instance this little alien that was found years ago by my nephew Haden in the treasure chest at La Senorita. I held onto it cuz I thought it was really cute. Then my son was born, so I thought he should have it. I have picked it up off the floor many times over the past few years and put it on his dresser, in a drawer, on the head board, on a shelf in his lockers...and the last time I just happened to place it on the computer on his dresser inside his rocket-shaped silly band...days later (today) I was cleaning his dresser and it struck me as...well...quite amusing that the alien was inside a rocket ship. Call me crazy, but I had to take a picture and share it with you! :)
